Under water light connector plug

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I could get the plug that would connect to the underwater light lead that is already in the boat? I want to install aftermarket underwater lights but don't want to splice them into the existing wires. I want to just plug them in.

Yes, if I remember correctly, that's where the connector ended up- behind the amp board.  I had to play with a tester and the buttons to figure out what it was for.

Here are prewired Dorman Delphi weather pack style male and female connectors from summit racing.  You can probably get then from your local auto parts store too.

If you use non-factory underwater lights that draw more amps than the factory ones, you might want to use fused relays to power them instead of just the factory wiring.  If there is too much draw, sometimes the power module circuit for the lights will not turn off (at least not until you turn off the battery switch).
