2019 Amp Question (Factory Vs SD2)

Just ordered a new 2019 22 LSV.  I have a Sinister - SD2 that I have pulled from my old boat. 

I am planning to run 2 Rev 10s much like I did on the old boat and was told that I am not going to be able to swap out the tower Amp for the SD2 that I currently own. 

Does anyone have any insight into this? Possibility and performance?

All you will need to do is convert the tower amp factory input connector signal leads to traditional RCA, and plug them into the new amp.
