Starboard side typically heavier?

I didn't throw this into a technical forum because I just wanted to know thoughts/stats on this.  Yes it gives me the decision to place my recently purchased batteries strategically considering weight distribution.

Is it safe to say that the starboard side is typically heavier on our boats due to the Helm, driver seat, heater core (if you have one, I do)?

Don’t know for the wakeboard boats, but it is true for the Malibu Response.

That’s why the starter battery is placed on the opposite side of the driver’s seat. We skiers want the boat to be as level as possible for a even wake. We place some counter weights depending on the crew that rides in the boat.

I usually have just a driver, so I put some lead bags on the floor underneath the passenger seat on the port side.

My R LXI sits level in the water standing still. As speed comes up you start to get the lean. I think unless you weight a boat way off center what you see is the force of the prop. Its one of the big plus points with CC ski tugs the rotation is opposite.  I need 100 lbs or more to compensate for the prop rotation on the on the port side.
