Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This time of year just getting out is special. My lake what is left of it is hard now.  This was the shortest season I have ever had. Not sure if we will even have a lake next year!

We went last Sunday air 79-81 water62- 65. (though instead of the rule like usual this warmth has been the exception) though this is the coldest fall I have experienced in LA in my 46 years living here .  January this year we actually had a winter and we skipped it . Now we’re having a real fall

last two or 3 years we haven’t  had bath water August water like usual

I guess global cooling agsin!!!

we usually make a Xmas run annually but that may be in doubt this year

132 degrees here on Monday, though some clouds did roll in and dampen the fun a bit.  70F air, 62F water.

My shorty from high school still fits... though I think it's stretched along with me as it feels a bit porous these days.  lol

74 degrees on Saturday (40 air, 34 water) - better than last weekend when it was frozen.  Toes tingling by pass 4, numb by #6 - good times!!

That's getting serious.

Take a cooler with hot water for the feet! Way to go! I wish we could get out but our lake is half empty and very hard!

Put your gloves in it between passes too.  I use the hot water in the cooler method here in AZ any time the air is below 60.

Wow.  Probably 70 air and 65 water here now, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going in.  The water and air will both be over 85 soon enough.  But I'll not say never to cold water.

Hot water cooler is standard equipment this time of year. 1st put ski in upside down to warm bindings. When done with set feet & hands in until not blue any more, then do it all over again!
