Where to Purchase Indmar and Malibu Shop Manuals?

Does anyone know where I can buy a shop manual for the Indmar 2018 Raptor engine? And one for the 2018 Malibu 21 VLX? It would be great to get these even if they were a few hundred dollars. Saves time and money in the long run. I had one for my previous boat and it was an extremely valuable resource whenever I needed to work on the boat. I have searched here as well as out on the web and had no luck. I think I found on old diagnostic manual for Indmar, from 2008 or so, but it is only of limited value.

Thanks

From what I've seen they don't exist in printed form for purchase.  But, there are service procedures, bulletins, advisories, QT9 build instructions, ECM diagnostic, etc... from Malibu and Indmar, available to dealers only via the dealer CRM websites.  At least as far as I know.

Thanks csleaver. It is a shame that they don't offer anything to customers. Some of us are DIY'ers and would really benefit from this literature. You figure the dealer shops must have pretty good written guidance from Malibu on how to do basic repair and maintenance. I get it that they want us to take our boats back to the dealer for this kind of work but that is not always practical for everyone. Nor affordable.

There are plenty of good resources for DIY maintenance here with the crew, or you can check out the Indmar website:

https://www.indmar.com/support/maintaining-your-indmar/

Or from the owners manual:

Or shop talk from indmar:

https://www.shoptalkbyindmar.com

https://www.shoptalkbyindmar.com/service-tips

https://www.shoptalkbyindmar.com/advisories

And parts can be ordered from your dealer or a variety of places online like:

I hope this will help.

Thanks csleaver, I will check all those out.

This site is definitely a great resource. There are a few gaps here and there, that we can all work to fill in. I will try to do my part to help. I tried to take notes and pictures as I did maintenance items so that I can share those with others. Would be great if we could separate threads out based on what is being worked on and the type/model/year of boat. Sometimes it is challenging to zero in on exactly what you are looking for. But again, great to be a part of this community!

Nor could the dealers ever keep up with the amount of work if it weren’t for us DIYers... and that’s a fact!  Most of them have a hard time keeping up period.
