Winter snuck up on me quick

So it looks like we’re in for three consecutive nights with lows in the upper 20s.  Haven’t winterized yet but taking the boat to the dealer tomorrow but it may take them a day or two to get to it.  Should I be concerned?

Put a 100W shop light (in cage) under the engine and turn it on at night.  You probably don't need to but you'll sleep better.

I do not and the boat is in a storage unit that doesn’t have an electrical outlet.  It’s only going to be below freezing for a few hours each day so I think it’ll be ok. 

I spoke to my dealer on Friday and he said there’s nothing to worry about unless it doesn’t get above the low 20’s for 48hrs or so.  I hope he was right and they can get to it quick once I drop it off tomorrow morning.

You are definitely safe.  If it is enclosed it probably won't get below 40 or 50 degrees in there.

If it makes you feel better, you can pull the block plugs in about 2 mins and at least drain the block

What engine do you have? If you don’t have a heater it probably wouldn’t take you more three 20-30 minutes to winterize yourself.

It’s an LCR 320.  I don’t mind having the dealer take care of it and it needs a few other service items that I’m going to have them take care of while it’s there.
