Ballast Rocker Switch Lights

I just recently upgraded my aerator pumps to Johnson reversibles. I re-wired everything with 12awg and 20 amp fuses. I'm using the original Carling fill/drain rocker switches on my boat (2003 Wakesetter) and followed the Wakemakers wiring diagram for the 7 pin rocker switches with jumper wires. The pumps work fine but the lights on the switch do not light up when in the fill or drain position. No the lights aren't burnt out lol. Anyone else have this problem? Do I need newer rocker switches for this to work?
