Hull design could be one, the wedge could be another, and a chubby guy on the sunpad as well.. =) (he's not considered ballast is he?)

Simple, less hull to sink means less weight needed to sink it.

Bingo, less surface area = easier to sink with less weight.

A more "Vert" and "Harder" wake if possible similar to 210.

I'd be careful making that comparison. Even though it's a 20' boat, at a 98" beam it's a much wider boat than the 210.

I don't have a problem with the width of my wake now, it's the steepness and hardness of the 210 wake that I am after, with the creature comforts of the malibu that I need as well.

And as J-Ro stated less gass consumption would be nice as well. The 210 seems to be better than my VLX now.
