Cracked converter/ exhaust manifolds on 2015 23 lsv

Looking for a little help,  I am new to this site and a first time Malibu owner. About a year and a half ago I purchased a 2015  23 LSV  used from a Malibu dealer, I transferred the factory warranty into my name for the remaining one year, and purchased an extended warranty.  Recently while out on the lake my maintenance required light came on and went back off a couple of times,  all gauges look normal until we were about to pull the boat out for the day and my engine temp warning came on.  I immediately shut the engine down  and proceeded to load my boat on the trailer .  I then contacted my local Malibu dealer that had just done a complete service for me and was told to bring my boat in as soon as possible so that they could look at it.  When I received a call back about a week later I was informed that there was an O2 sensor code that came up but no other codes regarding overheating or anything else, when they pulled the O2 sensors out to Inspect them they noticed there was water in the manifolds and that both of my converter/manifold were cracked.  Come to find out I am approximately eight months out of factory warranty and my extended warranty powertrain plan excludes risers and manifolds. So I am told the total repairs will be $4500, I have been on the phone with Malibu customer service and Indmar directly and have received a $900 discount from them so far.  Maybe it’s just me  but I was hoping that they would take care of me just a little better, I am not looking for free was just hoping their “gracious discount” I was told I would be receiving  would be a little more, and would end up a little less out-of-pocket for me, since this appears to be an issue that  appears to be happening quite frequently. Has anyone on here had this issue?  Any recommendations or helpful hints would be appreciated .

Thank you
