Front Ballast Tank Leaking or Draining?

Never noticed this until this week but on my 2018 21 MLX I fill the center and front tanks up to 100% and back tanks/bags where needed for the wave I want. The issue I am having is my front tank seems to be leaking or draining. It will be 100% for a while and then I notice the wave flattening out, look down and the front is showing 75%. The other day I figured it was just the sender so I let it be. A little bit later it showed that it was down to 25% so I started filling it back up. It took a few minutes for it to get back to 100%. Auto bilge did come on much later in the day but there was no water in the boat and nothing coming from the bilge...

Today it was happening again so I just kept the front tank pump running while surfing. It kept up and the front tank stayed at 100%. No extra water in the boat and nothing out of the bilge pump....although once again the auto bilge did come on later in the day.

Check your vented loop under drivers helm.  If the duck bill is not working properly it will allow water to siphon back out the fill pump.  My guess would be this is what is causing the water to drain out.  There is a cap on top of the vented loop that can be removed to check the duck bill.

The vented loop also needs to be mounted as high up as possible.

I looked under the dash and under the cover in the floor and didn’t see that piece. I’m guessing the only other place it could be is behind the sub woofer?

Correct.   You will need to pull the kick panel.
