Does anyone know how to make the SiriusXM radio. The head unit is XM compatible(I think) and it is a Rockford Fosgate head unit.  I’m thinking it may just be a module that I can plug-in with an antenna? Is that correct?

I have a RFX9700 in my pontoon.  More than likely you will need to get a vehicle tuner or a vehicle connect kit.  Below is the blurb from my owners manual.  If you know what model the head unit is, you should be able to go to RF's website and download it.  That's what I did.

SIRIUS OPERATION

• This unit is compatible with a variety of SIRIUS Satellte Radio solutions including the

SCC1 SiriusConnect TM Vehicle tuner Tuner and SCVDOC1 Sirius Connect Vehicle Kit with

any compatible Sl Rl US Dock & Play radio. The operation will be the same regardless of the

SIRIUS radio is used.

• User needs follow the instruction of SCCI or SCVDOC1 for installation. Always make sure

the Sirius SIRIUS antenna is connected properly located for maximum signal reception.

Go to BestBuy and buy the Sirius Tuner with antenna. All you do is plug it into the cord behind the amp wall labeled Sirius. It takes about 5 minutes. Plus with that kit you get three months free. I believe it was less than $30. I just routed the cord through the battery compartment and squeezed the cord behind the port side seat and stuck the antenna next to the existing GPS antenna on a small metal plate (the ones used for magnetic cell phone mounts), NO HOLES! I can’t remember the part number for the tuner but it’s on this forum somewhere. And the metal plate is made by Scosche.
