I thought I may have posted this in the wrong forum so am posting here now. 

 

I have a 05 Wakesetter LXi Direct drive and am wondering what to use for Wake shaping. I am thinking of adding Side powered Wake Shapers. Has anyone had any experience with these.

that's the hull I learned to surf behind back in 2006, only it was a V drive.  It made a nice wave with wedge and some ballast.  I'm sure a wake shaper of some sort would work great with enough weight in the boat.  You'll probably need to put sacks on the floor and alongside the motor box.
