My 2007 24/7 Malibu Wakesetter  was running great. stopped to talk to a friend, idled around a little. Shut off engine, tried to restart - no power at all. acts as if the batteries are unhooked.

Any ideas what it could be? Ignition switch ? Batteries?

I just did this:  Going down the lake, everything shuts off.  No power.  Getting towed in I noticed I was in the 1 position and the battery completely drained.  I moved it to the All position, still nothing.  Then after being towed for 45 min, I noticed the shifter wasn't in the neutral position.  Fired right up.

The first part of your problem sounds like you have an electrical problem (miswired battery switch / bad battery / bad alternator).

I was getting a low voltage problem starting the day off.  Battery might have been low to start.  Between running 6 pumps, blasting the radio, the battery just couldn't keep up.  Now I run in all and I'm not having any issues.
