Fuel Pump replacement - Assistance required

So I'm going down the path of replacing my fuel pump with the Carter P5000 - and need to remove the line from the bracket to the bottom of the fuel pump.

Of course, being a '98 Sunsetter, the top end into the bracket is pretty solidly frozen in there -  I'm soaking in PB Blaster, and gotten a flare nut wrench for the brass -  but are there any tips/tricks -  it's not moving at this time.

Any alternatives that I'm not thinking about?

Not that it matters but are you referring to the 2nd smaller line (return) U-shaped one?  Either way, use two wrench's. One to hold the female part of the fitting, and the other wrench to hold the male side. Then squeeze them together. If it is the smaller line, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It is not used when replacing the pump... I think, ha.

So after saying "what the heck", I removed the entire fuel pump clamp/block.  Once clamped down on my workbench, it was easy to use a pair of vice grips to remove it.  Only remaining issue was when I removed the fuel pump to fuel filter line, somehow the flare on the fuel pump side cracked slightly and pee'd gas all over the place.  After a bit of research, and a call to Andrew at Bakes, Indmar no longer makes that same line, and the replacement line is about 2" shorter and appears that it would kink when curved the 180 degrees to connect the fuel pump to the fuel filter.  So long story, a quick to to Hose and Rubber supply here in SLC turned up a new, custom made hose that fits the bill.  The hose was cracking anyway, so replacement is good.
