Trailer plywood innerfender

Use pressure treated plywood if you can find it.  1/2" seems a little harder to find than 3/4" around here.  If you have to put regular CDX on it, prime and paint the heck out of it to try to completely seal it.  You'll still get water in where you staple the carpet on and through bolt it, so maybe glue the carpet and goop the bolt holes well.

Baltic Birch plywood, too.  But coat it with polyurethane paint.  Mind you the suggestion to use Kingboard or Starboard is a MUCH better idea.  Grainger's sells the stuff is smaller pieces.
