Cold start problem

We had the same problem with our '02 Monsoon engine. Once we sent the ECU to Indmar to be programmed with the latest s/w, it was fixed. Good luck.

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to bug my dealer some more about the ECM software. They said it was the latest version, but now im not sure.

Use WD-40 to check for leaks, it will lube abd protect and metal parts while you are testing - just wipe off excess when your done.

WD40 would be a lot safer too.  Thanks.

A little safer, yes. A lot safer, maybe not. WD-40 is still very flammable so still be very careful. WD-40 will actually work as a quick-start boost in a pinch. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
