2016 Ronix Code 22 vs. 2018 Ronix darkside

Has anyone ridden both boards? I talked to someone at ronix and they said the darkside replaced the code 22.

I had a 2016 code 21 and i really liked it but i just snapped the board and need to replace it. I am thinking about just getting the code 22 since its the same board with a better core but I'm wondering if the new darkside is worth getting instead?

There was a thread on wakeworld with this exact question.  Not a lot of people were able to provide input.  One of my distant riding acquaintances made the switch and seems to be happy.  But my understanding of the boards was that Ronix did away with the 22 for one year and then introduced the Darkside.  As you alluded to, it really just sounds like a reintroduction of the 22 with the intelligent core.
