This will only give me Depth not water temp but I am okay with that.

A few  questions.

I actually found an original  module and transducer for $200.  How difficult is it to get the old transducer changed out for a new one?  Would this require drilling out the old one?  Is this a DYI or big job I need to bring to a Malibu dealer?  ( Malibu dealer 2hrs away)

Second, if replace either where do I run the cable?  I have been unable to open the center gas tank cover in the middle of the floor.  The previous owner actually placed a flush handle there. When I removed the side  screws and tried to lift it open the handle stared to pull out, so I stopped.

The existing cable goes under the driver side rear locker then I have no idea where.  Can I run the cable through the rear locker to along the side to the dash>?

Thoughts comments and experience?

Thanks

Frank
