Yes...Another F-150 Topic....BRAKES!

What says TMC?  My 2013 F-150 Brakes are just about toast.  It still has the original brakes on it.  I always feel like the original brakes last forever on cars but once you replace them, I feel like they never last/perform as well and the rotors warp at the drop of a hat.

Shadetree mechanic here....I’ll be buying and installing

Suggestions on replacement?  I don’t tow my boat often.  Have a place at the lake.  Drove a fair amount for work, mostly interstate.

5.0 4WD if it matters.

Akebono pads.  Great bang for the buck and an OEM supplier for a number of brands.  I have them on my BMW and my Escalade EXT.  OEM rotors or something else high dollar.  I've ran the Napa Gold with success and currently have Power Stop drilled/slotted rotors on my truck (don't expect better stopping with the drill/slotted rotors - they were just a good deal when I got them).

Cheap rotors and pads have cheap results.  I also like Hawk pads, but they are pricey.  I ran EBC pads on my Avalanche (stock brakes were garbage on that); good pad but a rotor eater.

Power Stop tow package brake kit. All rotors and pads for a decent price. They work well, but are gimmicky with the drilled and slotted rotors.
