ECU flashing

Recommended Posts

Santini24

Yesterday I went from full throttle to neutral after my kid fell off the tube. The engine stopped and now will not turn over. The display is flashing ECU over and over. Any thoughts? Thank you from a newbie.

does starter engage/grunt?

wag: pull the spark plugs out of it and see if the starter will spin the mill; it may have swallowed a bit of water (search hydro-lock).

It does, just won’t fully turn over. It’s not locked up.

So does it spin and spin but not fire, or crank half a turn and stop?

So, I pushed in what I believe was the reset and still nothing. It wasn’t completely out like the picture showed. Only 2/3 mil give. Is this something that should be reset or replaced? Thanks for the help!

if it spins w starter i'd be looking at the safety lanyard switch.

have gauges at ign on?

fuel pump cycle at ign on?

no start trouble-shooting

I hear the fuel pump and the gauges are on. Same for the safety lanyard.
