Water at Gas Tank Floor Wet 07 Response

Recommended Posts

First time post.  Noticed floor wet at rear of boat on passenger side.  Did some exploring and found I have water between my gas tank and the outer wall of the boat at the very rear by fasteners connecting the swim platform.  Used drill pump to get water out (while boat in water).  Water came back.  Water appears to have came in rear vent originally. Now wondering if water leaking into boat???  Anyone experience this before?

Check if your platform brackets are loose.  That was the source of the phantom leak in my inlaws 04 lxi.  I loosened them up more and squeezed in some 5200 between boat and brackets and arou d bolts.  Fixed it
