Got the opportunity to walk all  through a 22 LSV yesterday.  All I can say is awesome! Depending on price I might be considering ordering one.

Pics here...

Answering questions here best I can!

PW3 is bigger (I think) and has a different mount point that allows more range of motion forward allowing for more lift.  Also the rep mentioned that the controls were more granular than previously.

Surf pipe looks to be standard and the rep said you could not even opt out of it.

Nice looking color combo. Disappointing to see that “out of sight, out of mind” is still the standard when it comes to installing electrical and audio components. Especially for the money.

That is a sweet looking boat. I saw it last week when I was picking ours up. I’m 99% sure PW3 is not any bigger then PW2 but it is mounted higher with more angle so lift works better and the is more room for adjustment. Plus the surf pipe ticking in behind the foil.

Any pics of your new boat?

Or did I miss them in another thread?

Am I to assume since Malibu only went into production Monday with 2019 boats, these have been made this week and already delivered to dealers.  How do they work the ordered vs stock boats.  Just curious as it seems ultra fast turn around for production and delivery.  This is the 2nd dealer 22 LSV I have seen and was just curious.

Is Indmar using Chevy blocks again?

No, Malibu dropped Indmar and switched to PCM/Crusader. That’s what you see in those pics. It’s a GM 6.0L L96

I’m not feeling the sub installation in the 22 LSV. I sure hope they don’t do that to the other boats.

Even though malibu just started full 2019 production, the build a handful of early models much earlier in the year. These are used for the photoshop, dealer meetings or just sent early to certain dealers as stock boats so now that they are in full production people can see the updates.

That and the screw sticking out, the wire connector dangling there...  Expect these things to be fixed in a real production run.

Rest of the boat looks pretty well thought-out.  Some interesting storage access.

My 18 lsv has the screw sticking out the panel on the left.

Ditto but it seems a lot higher on the 23lsv. Keep meaning to cut mine off.

Looks like the same Sub set up as the 21 VLX and MLX.  It’s probably not sealed like the 23lsv.
