SD2 amp going into protection mode after start.

Hey guys I have a wetsounds sd2 amp with the 420 equalizer hooked up to 4 rev 10s on the tower. Everything works perfect when the boat power is turned on. When I start the engine the amp goes into protection mode and the tower speakers won’t work. When I shut the head unit down and turn it back on everything works perfect. How do I fix this?

I had to install a capacitor on the 12V turn on lead to fix it. (usually a blue wire)   When you start your engine the battery voltage drops and kills the amp. The capacitor keeps the anp trigger circuit voltage at closer to 12 volts when you start the boat. I'm not talking about a big huge stiffening capacitor for harder hitting bass!  Just a small  47-100uf "microfarad" on the turn on lead only should probably be adequate.
