Clock resetting.

I have an 07 VTX.  It's been mostly trouble free, but the past couple years, I find that the clock resets itself at times throughout the day.  I'll set the clock, then I'll notice that it reset back to 12:00.  I think it must be an electrical issue (maybe a loose or corroded  connection, but not sure where to start my search.

Dumb question, but do you have a perko switch and do you ever switch from 1-2 or both during the course of the day?  My old boat would have a voltage loss when I switched between them.  My newer boat doesn't skip a beat but figured I throw it out there.

Get an ACR and lose the switch and have the right time.

Nope, no perko.  Running a single bat.

Maybe the voltage drops too low during starting.
