I'm shopping for my 99 Response...

Are adjustable bunks ok?

Or will all the hardware be a pain down the road?

Elctric brakes? Yes?

 Aluminum  ok?

Thanks!

Nick

I picked up this one for my Echelon, almost the same boat as you.  It's been great.  A 2013.  I double checked a variety of the nuts for tightness, not at issue at all.  I like the adjustable bunks, I changed it a little to better cradle the front.  And, if I ever had to, I could brace a section and remove a bunk entirely to so some work, then bolt it back up.59c273aebbe93_2017endofseasonontrailer5.thumb.jpg.f9e7a966d28380ae6784990a6c01ed6d.jpg58a1e70b43642_Rearoftrailercompressed.thumb.jpg.902c1991d5775b2962557b1e59f8578c.jpg57e52fa2b7f71_2016Winterstoragecompressed.thumb.jpg.841274af7e5dd3e7d85e1971fa407ffd.jpg

I have a Quote from a Load Rite dealer....$4,000.00 for tandem axle?

Sound decent?

Also, do you have surge or electric brakes?

 Thanks!

May want to consider electric over hydraulic brakes the long term use of launching with electric drum brakes is hard on them. With electric over hydraulic you still get the benefit of disc hydraulic brakes actuated electrically.  It is a small boat so may be overkill but it is the best set up.

Electric over hydraulic, with the discs on the front axle.

Edit: and yes, that seems like a fair price.

I have this Load Rite on order. 4200 lb tandem axle.

Did it come set up pretty good and you just had to move a little?

I sent the dealer measurements from my existing trailer.

Thanks!

Mine was already set up for an Echelon, so it was good to go.  But I actually did have to adjust the front bunks a little...really easy to do.
