16 23 LSV - Anyone using Lead?

I have 550s in the rear.  How much lead should I add?

Depends on what you’re trying to accomplish with the extra lead. There’s a bunch of good ballast setup threads for the ‘15-17 23 LSV so start there if you’re trying to max out the wave.

If you’re happy with the rear weight and just want to bring the bow down a bit or lengthen the wave, play with some lead up front or a bow/walkway bag to see how much you like. It shouldn’t take much with 550’s in the lockers.

I’m using 200 in lead while wakeboarding in my 17. Surfing I sometimes fill up a bow bag 1/2 way plus the lead.
