Has anyone tried one of the nauticurl boards out yet? Looks like they have 3-4 different models.

I don't know who makes them but it's one of the known companies who are crafting them for Nauti

The 4'4" CWB Bentley is on sale right now for $225 so I'm trying to decide whether to go with that, or try a Nauticurl. Right now all we have is the Beginner budget friendly LF Rocket so we're looking for our first "real" board. Any other recommendations are appreciated.

For some reason I've never been on a mass-produced board that ever felt right.  For this reason alone, I'd be more willing to throw some money down on a Nauticurl.  I don't know what it is about the manufacturing (or possibly shipping) of the big-name boards but they always feel heavy and "dead."

Understand. The only reason I even started looking at CWB was because all of the BuCrew love for the Tsunami board. The Rocket definitely feels heavy and dead, hence the desire to move on to something else.

Ended up with a Ronix Koal Technora Thruster from Marine Products in Salt Lake City. Awesome shop and super helpful staff with a huge selection. Super excited to try it out and see the vast difference a decent board makes in our wave.
