Courtesy Light - RGB LEDs?

Recommended Posts

mnwakerider

Has anybody found any good (or at all) RGB LED Courtesy lights? I am looking for something that I could mount to the seat bases to shine across the floor, but I want to combine that with the other RGB LED interior lights I have planned. I am also trying to keep the wiring simple and expandable with other standard RGB lights, I am using a 5 wire controller from XK Glow.

Was thinking something like this: http://www.apexlighting.com/boat-lights/courtesy-lights/toulon-rgb-courtesy-light/ - but unfortunately this is not a 5 wire setup for the RGB controller I have...

Any ideas? I would also be open to making something that has a good mount that looks stock.

Thanks!!

JB

Bendable track

I have several lengths of the product in the link above. I was going to mount it under the seat bottoms at the top of the seat bases. Never got around to it. You use inexpensive RGB strips in the channel. The diffuser evens out the light.

Thats a pretty interesting product. Any idea if it works with the waterproof or covered LEDs 5050 strips? I have some of those strips available and actually like this approach if it fits them.
