Changing from fixed wedge to floating wedge on early 2000s VLX

So last weekend i ran into an issue on my 2003 Wakesetter VLX that I've seen a lot of other crew members have had. While riding, it appears the bolts backed out of the arms holding the fixed wedge foil. When the bolts backed out on the one side, the foil was pushed and bent one of the arms. It wasnt even 3 weeks ago that I saw bolts backing out of the foil, so i replaced all the bolts and used loctite. Apparently it didnt hold! I saw that bakes has replacement arms for 210$ but I'd rather not have bolts back out on me again and keep throwing money away on arms or worse, a new foil assembly. I've read others preach about how much better the floating wedge is compared to the fixed wedge. Id love the stainless steel look of the floating vs the fixed, especially if it indeed performs better!

So here are my questions:

1) Has anyone changed a fixed wedge over to a floating wedge on an early model vlx? If so do you have pictures so I can see what it looks like?

2) Will my transom hold up to the stress of a floating wedge?

3) Are the bolt patterns for the bracket on the transom the same as from fixed wedge to floating wedge? Or will I have to drill holes in my transom for the floater?

4) Lastly, where is the best place to find a floating wedge?? Ive found the floating foil assembly on bakes for around 800 bucks, but i cannot find the transom bracket anywhere!

Thanks again for the help!!

2 - Yes, stress is the same

3 - Yes, same

4 - I lucked out on getting a used bracket (rare find, was someone on here selling one).  Otherwise, I've seen them on eBay before or a dealer could sell you one.  I believe I bought my foil either on eBay or Bakes, can't recall as it was a couple years ago
