Max RPM?

Anyone know the max rpm for the monsoon 409.

Read the manual and they say there's now an over Rev alarm and cut off and advise not to hit it but nowhere in my boat or engine manual is the number listed (at least not that I could find)

With my prop-2277- I tap out around 5600

I was more curious as to what the rated max is or the setting in which the engine cuts out but at least I know it's north of 5600 now

Per the crusader manual, the 409 has a WOT range of 5400-5600, with 5500 as preferred WOT.  Max cruising RPM is 4000.

For reference:

350 - 5000-5300, 5200, 4000.

450 - 5200-5400, 5300, 4000.
