I’m an advocate for surf exhaust... (Love FAE and I bought one immediately for my previous boat).

Didn’t like the bolt-on options available for the power wedge on my 2007 247 (big block) so I decided to make my own.  I tried to design it for max flow with 4” mandrels, 2-1 merge collector (muffler delete) inside, and hidden on the outside.

Very interesting solution.  Can you post more photos as it is hard to see all of the exhaust plumbing (inside and out)?

Can post more later, I posted while at lake and we are still camping.  Took 5 min upload for the one pic

That's is on freaking point.  Love it.  Cleanest version I've seen, OEM or FAE.

Thanks.   If it were for available for sale I'd have gladly paid for it.   Would have been easier than making it.   But this design just seemed like the simplest, cleanest solution to me.    Works awesome.

Looks like clean work.  How much heat is that transmitting to the air going into the filter that is just above it?

Air intake is not close to the merge collector....  picture doesn't show distance.     Good point, but no worry or issue there.    Doesn't get very hot anyway.    I explored the temperature of marine exhaust pretty well, talked with everyone from Indmar to go fast boats on this design.

haha,... Molarbu, just willing to try.  It’s  fiberglass and parts.  And yes a team of helpful dudes on Wake Garage and TMC to pool ideas together.

Another week on the water...   Performed awesome boarding, surfing and tubing (don't ski much anymore).

Absolutely love this mod and wish I did it last year.   So far no changes to make, which is a first for me.

Sooo..... Anyone interested in the 3.5" silent turndown exhaust (STEs) tips that came off let me know.   Going up for sale.    I'll polish them up first.
