Sorry for reading old post from 2006, but what are your thoughts on Ronix now? I have always been a CWB man and now finally branching out and making a switch.

On a side note, i was very interesting to read a post from when Ronix was first started and the back in forth. Its like im in Back to the Future haha.

Love that company! I like the bump too, cool too revisit people's thoughts from 2006.

I'm not a very skilled rider but I do like their boards a lot. Those guys spend more time on R&D and pushing the limits on design than most of their competitors if you ask me.

Plus they're just cool. They love their job and it shows in their products.

I still ride the 2009 Ronix Caption 4'8". It's a good board very loose in the pocket, If I could do a surface 360, I would think this would be the board to do it on...

I switched from a O'brien Natural this year to a Ronix Ibex. Love the Ronix- wife switched to a Ronix as well. The boards are lights and seem very fast, but still easy to control.

Did you get new bindings as well? I have been waiting for my Hyperlite Team's to fall apart so I can justify a new set of CT's- prob Relik. My buddy has them on an Ibex- very low profile- they make you feel more "connected" to the water and seem more responsive. They are much, much lighter than my Team's as well. Will look forward to the review!

I did order new bindings. Went with the district OT because i wear a 14 and my current Zeus CT are super heavy. I always felt like the OT bindings were way lighter. Obvioulsy the trade off is board control, but i dont think it is that drastic.
