1235 Acme Prop Salvageable?

I have a 1235 Acme prop that took a spin on some sand/dirt at Norris Lake last year. 

Its been sitting in my garage for a year. 

You guys think its repairable from what you have seen that has been repaired?

That can for sure be repaired. I’ve seen much worse be fixed. Acme in Michigan is good but I’m sure you have a local shop that can do it too.

I would think that that would be repairable, looks like they will have to add some material to it.  

Maybe reach out to ACME and send them the pictures to get their opinion too.  [email protected]

Repairable. Wont be cheap, but not as much as a new one. Im would guess my prop guy would do it for around $250-350. Probably have to weld a bit on it.

Very easy repair - Prop MD in Plymouth MN fixed my beat to crap prop like it was new.

Check out this thread, you'll see that it takes a pretty badly damaged prop for them not to be able to repair it.

Since you are in Cincy, take it out to Delta Propellers in Cleves and let them look at it.  They come highly recommended.

Delta Prop does good work, they have repaired one or two for me.

Run it in sand again. It'll buff right out.

Thanks they are right up the street from my house. I’ll check them out.
