Removing ballast fittings from fat sacs

I have 2 750 lb sacs that have the flow rite fittings glued or PVC cemented into the fill and drain ports of these sacks. I'd like to use a tsunami pump with the stock quick connect fitting to fill and drain these bags so we can move them around the boat. I tried the wakemakers method of removing them by heating up the collar with a hair dryer and using my feet to push them out with no success. Any tips and tricks on how to get these out? After talking with a wakemakers rep, she said id be better off with just buying new bags due to how much of a PITA it'd be to rig something up with both ports. I'm not sure if I believe that yet. Thanks in advance.

Why not just leave the hoses and cut them off about 6" from the bag and shove a coupler/adapter in there?  I wouldn't take the fitting out b/c you may destroy the bag if they are truly glued in place.

I'll do that if I can seal off the drain port and rig the fill port to have a female quick connect fitting

I got all of the fittings out but it took about 2 hours, 4 beers and repeatedly heating each one with the hair dryer to get them to come out. I ordered the fittings that I want to use with my pump. If the threaded holes are leaking once i put in the new fittings, what works the best to seal them? Silicone?

If you don't mind it being permanent, PVC cement.

I wouldn't like them to be in there permanently. The plan is to keep these 750 bags once we sell this boat and use them in the next boat which will most likely hook up to a PnP system. So with that in mind, what would work the best?

As long as the threads are good, I doubt you’ll have a problem. The ballast fittings should have orings at the base that seal them.
