Transmission fluid in hull

I have a 2016 Malibu Response LXR and recently put her in the water. Today after skiing, I was checking the fluid levels and everything under the engine cover and noticed a small amount of transmission fluid in the hull.  I used a single paper towel to clean the mess up, to give an idea on how much there was.  Didn't have a whole lot of time to trouble shoot but any idea why or where this is coming from?

@Brian82683:  I would check to make sure your dipstick is properly installed as a start.  Assumption being trans is not overfilled or has been submerged in water.  

BTW - how do you compare the skiing behind your LXR to the Echelon you list as a boat you own?

Im sorry I didn't respond, apparently I had my notification button off.  Anyways, that happened with the fluid on my first barefoot run. Never happened again.  The dealer said it could be just the initial pull, or like you said the dip stick not seated (but it was). Either way it was fine all 102hours of use this summer.

 

The echelon was an around great boat, I had it for two seasons but only footed behind it once, was doing more wakeboard then. The LXR has an amazingly flat wake, the boat in general is just awesome.  When I drive, the other skiers always compliment how great it is.
