Building a custom board rack for my G3 tower!

**disclaimer: This is my first post so please let me know if I'm breaking any of the forum rules**

This year I went a purchased a hydrofoil for surfing and realized that it's fairly heavier than a normal board because of the foil, to the point where I'm not comfortable having it up on the forks with any extra support. After googling around for what's available, nothing really seemed like exactly what I want, or they just looked very ugly, which is why I decided that I'm going to try and build my own rack! Though, if I missed any decent looking ones, please let me know.

Here's a video of the first couple hours of progress, it's early in the process but so far I think I did a great job designing the forks to match what already comes stock on the tower! More updates to follow

That’s sick! Do you design for a living?

No - I've self-taught myself 3D modeling for fun but decided I'll try and apply it to a physical thing this time. Though if I could do it again I would've been a mechanical engineer!

For anyone who has been following the design (sorry for the delay). A ton of adjustments were made in order to fit the correct size tower mounting bracket, as well as a redesign of the hydrofoil mast arm that will secure it in place. The angles of the forks were adjusted to be extremely similar to the OEM Illusion G3 Wakeboard racks. I also needed to reshape them so they'd fit with the updated connecting arm spacing (they were moved closer together to fit the correct size bushing in the tower mounting bracket. Here's a video of the latest and greatest! If anyone has any suggestions on finite changes I should make I'm definitely open to hearing ideas. Also trying to figure out what name should get engraved on the tower mounting bracket...
