Add Wedge to 2011 A20

I'm looking at buying a 2011 Axis A20 but it doesn't come with a Wedge.  Is it worth adding one or just going with max ballast?

Many thanks

On my 2012 A22 I could have lived without the wedge for surfing. It was nice to have it as it offered a quick way to change the wave but not necessary and depending on crew size we would not always use it. We did not wakeboard much.

I've got a 2012 A20.  I only wakeboard and I never use my wedge.  I love the wake both with and without the wedge, but notice that I run through more gas with it.

I always preferred it with just ballast on my 13'. I ran Sumo 900s, which is now renamed to the Sumo 1000.

Anyone with a Gen 1 Axis also knows that the boats prop walk with wedge and a lot of ballast, causing the wake on the starboard side to form up a little oddly when you're wakeboarding.

All of that being said, I think it's worth having the wedge even just for resale value alone.
