2002 5.7 fuel injected engine... alternator question

Anyone know how many amps the stock alternator puts out? I want to add a battery but dont have a meter to check the amps...

70 amps is what mine was.  I went to 120 through.  Got one through DB Electrical on eBay.  Here is one that might be a good match.  If you don't have ribbed belt/pulleys then you'll need it, as a single v-belt isn't rated for that much work.  Also the small(er) orange wire that goes from the alternator to the starter will need to be supplemented or upgraded to handle the extra current.
