Sub not working!

Recommended Posts

surfdude

So, I hooked the batteries up on my boat for the summer, and thought I’d play some music. My sub is not working. It is a 2015 LSV. It has a wet sound syndx6 amp powering the sub and tower speakers. The inboats and the tower work fine. I also have a ws420 equalizer. Checked all the connections and everything is fine. I checked the settings on the dash control and the sub is turned on in settings. Every thing worked when I put the boat away and unhooked the batteries last fall. Any ideas where to look next?

EQ bypasses that, so dont worry about that. Swap the in-boat and woofer RCAs at the back of the EQ and see if the SUB volume now controls the in-boats or does the in-boats volume now control the woofer? If the sub volume dial controls the in-boats, its downstream of the EQ. Put the RCA back as they were and swap at the amp. This eliminates the RCAs and points to the amp or woofer.
