Sunsetter Driver Drink Holder

So in certain years - namely after my '98 sunsetter, there is a "console/drink holder" to the right of the driver on the floor.

I see references in my searches to those that have fashioned something similar -  I'd like descriptions on how you've done it, and with pictures if possible.

I did not make one of those, I installed one just behind the seat on the fiberglass gunnel.  Simple install and works great.  For making one as you note, simply use starboard panels and cover with carpet, screw panels together with stainless screws.  I would make a template out of cardboard to use to cut the starboard panels.
