I have a new to me 2015 Ford F-250 Diesel.  We take a couple road trip with the boat in the summer and I want to be prepared.

Really don't care to dig out the OEM jack.  What jack do you all suggest?  Jack stand?  Anything else I might need?

Thanks for your help.

I made a 2" x 12" stepped ramp with nylon handle for trailer tire changes. When I pull the good tire on to the ramp the flat tire is raised off the ground a good 2". I have a dedicated zippered cloth tool bag for tire repair. 20ft extension cord, electric impact, impact extensions and  sockets and a cheapie breaker bar. Plug kit so I don't have to pull the tire if I don't need to and I carry my 5 gal air compressor for the really long trips. That has been a weekend saver a couple of times.

My OE jack got moved into the tool box for easier access. Long trips, I take a (bigger) bottle jack - the OE is a bottle jack as well. I always have a 4way tire wrench - it fits truck and trailers. I've used the trailer buddies like wdr suggested, They work good for dual axle trailers. I've never needed a jack stand. Long trip I would consider taking a spare trailer hub and tools to swap it. I've had to leave a trailer in a parking lot to go find a hub before but that was a single axle trailer. Duals can usually limp along a little better if need be.
