Deckadence Help.

I am planning on putting snaps on it, but it didn't move around on me when I took it out with it the first tme.   I think I mentioned that I made it bigger than the factory carpet so that it would go all of the way to the edge.  So it is a little wedged, which I'm sure helps.

Also, I should have some scraps.  If you want, PM me your address, and I'll drop a small section in the mail so you can compare it yourself.  For that matter, if anyone else reading wants to do the same, I'll be happy to send out some of what I have left over.

I should be taking out the boat a bit next week, and it is supposed to be pretty hot.  So I'll be able to report back as far as how hot it gets and how it performs and all of that.

I just went ahead and gambled and ordered from American floor mats. I went with the grey without backing or border. I have a 2016 with the soft grip flooring and it will burn your feet. In 2017 Malibu went with a different supplier that I’ve heard is much cooler. I ordered a roll and cut it out to lay on top of my soft grip flooring. It was 100 today and the American Floor Mat worked great. Very happy with the product.

@DfowkesLooks great! From what I can see it is identical to Deckadence mat.  Definitely on my winter project list this year.

I taped and glued. You are seeing the dark grey marker that I used for the cut. It should dissipate over time.

@Dfowkes the American floor mat product looks great.  I’m interested in doing this modification.  What tape and glue did you use on the seams near the captain’s chair?  Can you explain this process to us?

I used Gorilla glue and a grey adhesive tape for carpets on the bottom.  At the end of the season the tape started to lose its hold.  Then I re glued and used grey outdoor thread to sew the seam.
