We didn’t have that issue these last few years cause our rain patterns have come  back hard and we get lots of rain and cloud cover where the water no longer cooks in the sun like it did when we had far less rain pattern 5-10 years ago.  

And our winters have been very sunny lately hense the more warm water even in the winter/January therefore Feb warm up happened quick
