Spring ride on the Parker Strip

love the big trump flag!

Very cool video.  How hard is that to learn?  Seems intimidating to have that metal blade swinging around you or being strapped down if you face planted....

Check out my avatar.  Didn't hurt:(.   Ok it hurt a little.   Being in the seated position helps a lot for the crashes.  Most are not that bad.  My worst chair crashes are right on par with a good wakeboard faceplant, but when I was wakeboarding, faceplanting was a common experience and really painful chair crashes seem to happen to me far less.

It has a slower learning curve.  But mastering each skill brings more satisfaction.

Thanks guys,

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I take skiers & boarders out all the time & ruin their impression of the sports. I wish I had made the Parker trip this year, but the guys definitely went off.

If anyone ever wants to pursue it, I will gladly hook you up with a rider in your area. It's such a small niche, and I've been doing it a while, chances are I will know or know of a rider in the area. And if your ever in Coeur d'Alene, I would love to spread the stoke with you. I thought the learning curve was quicker, I was attempting inverts the first few days out, and actually riding them away the first year. It's kind of a mix of riding a ski & a bike. Your strapped to it, so it can't hit you. Crashes suck, but anything worth doing is tough on you once in a while. And the return of big air is worth it. It's a thrill to say the least.
