So I have played on one of these for wakeboarding and the wake is super picky side to side. MC has been heading that way for a while, but they are building inboard runabouts. The Vs on these boats keep getting deeper and deeper under the guise of "It throws a better surf wave," but the reality is that they do it to make them handle rough water better. Me personally, I avoid rough water like a plague. Theses super Vs create a steeper/pitchier wave, but that little Barrel that everyone with a GO Pro loves to take pictures up is unusable space. A thicker broader wave works better. They do handle rough water well, but as a rider I get annoyed at directing passengers from 75ft back to move one butt cheek over 2".
