Can anyone tell  me what float is in the tanks?
I'm assuming it's similar if not exactly a fuel level float.
Did some googling and haven't been able to come up with much.

I can only guess that these don't need to be replaced all that often.

A dough nut sliding up and down on a rod is all. A rare failure event. If your fuel level seems to be off it is most like one of two things. The sensor may be bad or if your fuel tank is like mine, it sags where the sensor is seated in the tank. There is a 1/4" side to side difference where the sensor is inserted into the middle of the tank. Not much a high dollar sensor can to do to compensate for  sag, tank swell etc.. I just make sure to never get below a 1/4 tank full.

Got it. Wasn't worried about the fuel, just wondering about the ballast. Didn't know if anyone knew of a part number.
Doing a different project and thought this float level might work.
