sealant/lubricant what attaching PNP connections

When you attach the plug and play hoses and connections, do you all add any lubricantt/sealant at the connections?

The quick connect orings last longer if they are kept siliconed. A semi-permanent adhesive on the threaded sac fittings can help them not back off and leak. If needing to fit the female hose fitting into the hose, a dab of marine sealer or silicone RTV on the fitting make sit easier to slip into the hose.

Silicone grease works well.  Best stuff is available at lab supply stores. Good enough stuff at Home Depot.

The ones I’ve bought have all come with a bit of grease on them.

Well, you all gave better answers than I did.  And yes, I have had some fittings back out.  But, no I have never bought any additional lube for these.

Used to use wd silicone, too much mess, so I use spit now !  The ones I take apart each week fir front bow bag don’t need much, anything left connected needs something for when you do disconnect
