IPHONE WILL NOT PLAY THROUGH ANY USB PORTS

Hello everyone. Im having an issue with my 2017 25LSV. When I plug my iPhone into the glove box usb port the system does not detect anything so I cannot play music through the usb and control it from the control panels. I can connect via bluetooth but then i have to have my phone close to shuffle through music. My wife has the same phone and it will recognize her phone but no sound through speakers. Dealer says they work just fine but when i get the boat home nothing works.......Any ideas?

I don’t think Apple products are supported. Malibu doesn’t want to pay the fees. Even when mine does work plugged in, the control is no better then Bluetooth. You can only skip songs and pause. I just Use Bluetooth. 

It does take some time to recognize the device. Are you giving it enough time?
