Replacing Bow Ballast Pump on Wakesetter

I have an '09 Wakesetter VLX.  The bow ballast pump needs to be replaced.  I can't figure out how to get to the pump.  What am I not seeing?  Thanks.

On the '06 the pump was under the floor between the driver and spotter seat.  I am assuming the '09 is the same.

If you are talking about the drain pump, it will be under the divider between the driver helm and passenger helm.  It's the carpeted piece.  Pull up the front cushions and you will see the screws that hold it in place.

Yeah that sounds right, as I can see the pump when looking down between the ballast tank and the vertical carpeted piece.  So the vertical carpeted piece between driver and spotter comes out?

I lifted the cushions and looked for screws but didn't see any.  I was hoping you didn't have to remove the ballast tank.  Thanks for the help!

The vertical piece doesn't come out but the horizontal carpeted area under the cushions will come out. You may have to use a magnet to find the screws. That's going to be for the drain pump. The fill pump is by the T-handle drain by the drivers seat.

Have you checked the fuses yet to make sure that's not the problem? Those will be under the dash.

Most of the screws are stainless and therefore not magnetic. Use a putty knife to scrape and tap down in suspect area to feel or hear for the screws.

Thanks! Now I know what I am looking for.

The drain pump is the one making the noise and is really slow to drain.  I wasn't aware that I could just change the cartridge, I'll start with that.

Appreciate all the help!
