how to tell if a VTX 20 has a cut diamond or wake hull?

I am looking at buying a cut diamond hull on a 20 VTX.

I am doing this sale long distance and do not want to get it wrong.  I love to ski so really would like the CD hull.

How can I tell the difference?

thanks

Above is correct, but another option I did when I purchased my 2012 VTX was to email Malibu the HIN number and ask for the build sheet. It will tell you all of the options the boat came with from the factory including which hull it was built on.

Also depending on the year, if it had the 3D Cut Diamond Hull, Malibu started placing stickers on the transom to let people know as well.

I am 99% sure that the VTX only comes in the diamond hull, at least when we just ordered our 2018 it was the only option.

That is a negative!  You were able to pick which hull you wanted.  All of mine I have chosen the Cut Diamond.

That earlier thread is a pretty good reference.

Gotcha. And that’s why I said 99%. Gave myself a percent to be wrong ;) Must have changed though.
